Light and spongy, as much like a traditional hamburger bun as anything I have had so far. My one complaint is when I was toasting them, the top layer of the bun had a tendency to flake off into the toaster, giving everyone else the impression that something was on fire...which was not untrue. Luckily the burned part could be easily pulled away.

We tried these hamburger buns with sloppy joes and I thought they were just great! They weren't crumbly at all and they held together well enough for me to eat and enjoy a very messy sandwich. We used these buns right out of the freezer by microwaving them and then toasting them. I thought they were really enjoyable and I am excited to have discovered a good gluten-free option for hamburger buns!

  1. Hey Z!

Sorry for the extremely delayed response! I have been slacking in the blogging area! Sorry to hear about the RA - but the gluten free diet is helping? My uncle has RA, I told him about the gluten free diet, but I dont' think he'll do it - I should talk to him again - so great your BF supports you! My fiance is SO AWESOME about asking for me at restaurants, and making sure I'm covered (probably because I get so cranky when I'm hungry, haha)

Anyway - yes - you can definitely add me to your list, and i'll add you to mine :)

  3. Hey Allie~

I'm really glad you checked out our blog! I'll add you to our favorites list right away!

Honestly, I'm not positive the gluten-free diet is specifically helping my RA joint pain. But I do find that I get a lot of other benefits out of it, so I'm sticking with it!

And what would we do without wonderful significant others to make sure we are full and not cranky? ~;o)

I've got to find someplace that sells more Kinnik stuff - our local place only caries a couple of things. Maybe I will try ordering some of it online...

Anyhow, thanks again for your comments! I look forward to your future blog posts!
